Rune Mappers Contest!
Edition: a free theme DM Rune map.

General idea:
You as a mapper should make a map which is the best map in your eyes. Big, small, which atmostphere,
what kind of weapons, it's all up to you! The jury will consist of mappers and players who judge maps
with their own criteria. Every jury member has an equal vote.

Rules*:
- You are allowed to use any Rune version (1.00 up to HoV 1.07);
- The map must be made especialy for this contest end never be published untill the jury team will
officially define the results;
- You can only submit one map for this contest;
- We will only accept submissions if you signed up for this contest (Sign up here);
- You are allowed to use custom made textures, sounds, etc. IF they are made by you (the author of the
submitted map). If you use custom made textures, sounds, etc. made by others than you, you have to able
to show you are allowed (by the author) to use these files;
- You must meet the 'readme' specifications stated below;
- The mapfile needs be named in an appropiate way (example: DM-Maptitle)
- The map(files) need to be compressed into a .zip or a .rar file.

Submission rules*:
The submitted compressed file must contain:
- All the files needed to run the map (DM-Maptitle, textures files, sound files, etc);
- No more than 3 screenshots in .jpg format, 640x480 px, optimized at 80% compression;
- A ReadMe.txt file, compiled as is shown in the Help files page.
- All files will have to be submitted to: contests@menjin.org

Timetable*:
- 15 July 2004, The official start of the contest;
- 24 July 2004, Signup period starts for the Rune mapping contest;
- 7 August 2004, Signup period ends for the Rune mapping contest;
- 15 September 2004, The deadline for you as a mapper to deliver your map!
- September 2004, The winner(s) will be announced.
